Job Description



AECOM is seeking an  Airport Project Manager  located in West Palm Beach County. As an airport project manager specializing in airfield and landside planning and design, you will be involved with developing and managing the construction of airport improvement projects for our airport clients.

AECOM is recognized as a leader in airfield designs nationally and worldwide. This is an opportunity to be involved with AECOM aviation projects in Florida and across the US. You will join a team of dedicated aviation planners and engineers delivering iconic aviation projects. ENR #1 in Aviation

Job Summary:

  • Project management of planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects.
  • Managing a wide array of aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.
  • Involved from start to finish in the planning, design, and construction administration of airports, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans.
  • Mentor and develop staff, provide leadership and an environment that encourages teamwork, initiative, and growth.
  • Supervision, coordination, and production of several projects concurrently.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Coordination with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies.

Qualifications



Minimum:

  • BS Civil Engineering. 
  • 4 or more years of airside and landside airport project management or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education 

Preferred:

  • Experience with airport improvements from planning through the design and construction phase
  • EI or PE, preferably the State of Florida
