Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests, create a friendly atmosphere, and provide prompt, attentive service that reflects the Doyle's brand and hospitality standards.
• Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and in accordance with recipes, portion standards, and guest preferences.
• Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, seasonal specials, and promotions to upsell and make recommendations to guests.
• Accurately take guest orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and credit card payments responsibly.
• Follow all liquor laws, TIPS/ServSafe certifications, and responsible service guidelines to ensure guest safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking supplies, garnishes, and glassware throughout the shift.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and enforce responsible consumption practices.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating to a manager when appropriate.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Adhere to opening, closing, and side-work duties, ensuring the bar is fully prepared for service and properly secured at the end of the shift.
• Uphold Doyle's standards of appearance, conduct, and service to maintain a welcoming and lively environment.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards
