About the Role
The Company is in search of a Career Coach to play a pivotal role in guiding students through their career development journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting students in completing their Career Development Portfolio, which includes essential tasks such as resume building, creating LinkedIn profiles, and preparing for mock interviews. The role involves one-on-one and group coaching to ensure students are well-prepared for future career and work experience endeavors. The Career Coach will also collaborate with various campus staff to enhance student career readiness, lead efforts to promote career coaching opportunities, and develop strategies to track the impact of career coaching on student development. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a minimum of an Associate's degree, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, and at least 2 years of related experience in career development and coaching. Proficiency in standard career assessments is also preferred. The role requires a commitment to student learning outcomes, staff development, and diversity, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and must be able to work within an entrepreneurial framework. Responsibilities also include participating in professional growth and training programs, and the ability to travel to and from campuses as needed.
