Desired Skills:

• 1–5+ years as a Data Center Technician.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
• Experience in data center environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and power systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct allocation.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Callan rack experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and shut down racks, hard drives, and switches using checklists and protocols.
• Perform quality checks on grounding, labeling, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty components.
• Handle hardware refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds).
• Manage cable labeling and patch panels (RAP).
• Resolve rack issues and complete high-level tickets.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Escalate incidents to leads as needed.
