Position: Document Scanning Specialist (Part-Time) Summary: This position will assist our Quality Control (QC) Department in general office administrative duties, including document digitization, copying, scanning, filing, sorting, data entry and supporting other special projects as assigned by the Department Manager, on a part-time basis of 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities: - Manage assigned projects focused on scanning and digitizing paper records, filing, sorting and data entry.
- Prepare documents including sorting, organizing, and removing staples or paper clips for scanning, as well as document destruction and shredding.
- Operate scanning equipment and perform quality control verification to ensure all scanned documents are clear, legible, and properly oriented and cropped.
- Manage data in the organizing, indexing, accurate naming and filing of digital files for ease of future retrieval.
- Train in related Tri-Mack manufacturing processes and procedures as required for the role.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner and demonstrate Tri-Mack Values: Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Accountability and Durability
- Adhere to all AS9100, ISO and NADCAP requirements as specified in work instructions.
- All other duties and special projects as assigned by your manager.
Education, Skills & Experience: - High School diploma or GED .
- Previous experience in an office environment.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Technical proficiency following scanning and document management best practices.
- Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of scanned documents and data.
- Organization skills to maintain efficient processes for saving, storing and retrieving digital and physical records.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Reliable, able to show up on time, get along with others, work independently, and consistently work a 20-hour work week.
