We’re looking for a Group Sales & Event Booking Coordinator who’s passionate about building relationships, managing group sales pipelines, and maximizing revenue through up sells. This role is perfect for someone who is equal parts sales-driven, detail-oriented, and client-focused.

We operate three unique entertainment venues in the Phoenix metro area:

  • Lane Park Scottsdale
  • Recess Tempe (event space + bar & restaurant with games)
  • LumberjAxes Westgate

From corporate team-building to milestone celebrations, we host unforgettable group experiences — axe throwing, ice curling, duckpin bowling, game show nights, live shows, and more. We pride ourselves on top-tier service, high-energy events, and repeat client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

Group Booking & Event Coordination

  • Respond to inbound leads and convert them into booked group events.
  • Manage group event inquiries through CRM and booking platforms (The Bash, Eventective, Peerspace, etc.).
  • Coordinate details with Venue Managers and Kitchen Managers to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Conduct occasional on-site client walk-throughs to confirm layouts and event flow.

Up selling & Add-On Revenue

  • Proactively upsell catering, beverage packages, and premium add-ons to maximize revenue per booking.
  • Suggest branded experiences, décor, or entertainment upgrades to elevate events.
  • Revisit clients post-booking to encourage upgrades or additional services.
  • Track and report upsell success and revenue tied to enhancements.

Repeat Business & Retention

  • Follow up with past group clients to encourage re-bookings across all venues.
  • Use CRM tools to re-engage lapsed leads with tailored promotions.
  • Collaborate with marketing on light-touch campaigns (email & SMS) aimed at driving repeat business.

Administrative & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain up-to-date client communications, event notes, and revenue in CRM.
  • Keep sales pipelines accurate and organized across all three locations.
  • Meet weekly with the Director of Sales & Marketing to review pipeline, performance, and opportunities.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years in sales, event booking, or hospitality sales (venue or catering experience a big plus).
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Go High Level, ClickUp preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple leads and bookings without missing details.
  • Work evenings/weekends as needed.
  • Ability to commute to Scottsdale, Tempe, and Westgate (or relocate before start date).

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $50,000 annually
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 annually
  • Commission: 1% on all group events you close (including catering & beverage upsells on online bookings not originally sourced by you)
