Job Description

Our client is seeking a HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the facilities maintenance department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  HVAC Maintenance Mechanic

Location:  Ada, MI

Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform extensive preventive maintenance on all HVAC related equipment.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and replace worn or damaged parts as necessary.
• Provide direction to other maintenance staff and assist in troubleshooting HVAC system failures.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized mechanical rooms while documenting all maintenance activities.
• Participate in planned coverage for HVAC related emergency call service.

What's Needed?

• HVAC degree or certification.
• Freon reclaiming certification.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Working knowledge of HVAC control software and related equipment.
