The New Life Clean in Blackstone, VA is looking for multiple janitors to join our Fort Pickett, 18 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged. This Day Porter/Janitor, or custodian will take care of our building, ground and carry out cleaning. The goal is to keep interior and exterior areas in a clean and orderly condition.

Full-Time or Part-Time Shifts

Added Incentives:

• 60 Day Performance Based Pay Increases
• Sign on bonus after 90 days of employment
• Pay increase at 60 days of employment
• A 2nd pay increase at 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock designated areas with required supplies
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Notify supervisor or management team if any major repairs need to take place
• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Wear supplied PPE
• Covid Vaccination required
• Previous experience a plus
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery as needed
• Ability to work well with limited supervision
