Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our behavioral health team. The LMHC will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create individualized treatment plans
Provide evidence-based therapy to clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance abuse, and more
Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions
Monitor client progress and revise treatment plans as necessary
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards
Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
Provide crisis intervention as needed

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
Active LMHC license in the State of residence
Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred
Strong therapeutic, diagnostic, and clinical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth platforms

Work Environment:

Office or virtual setting depending on service delivery
May require evening and weekend availability
Requires emotional resilience and ability to manage high-stress situations
Low physical demand but high cognitive and emotional involvement
Confidential and quiet environment needed for therapy sessions
