Job Details

• Shift: Full-time (36 hours), Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5 PM
• Location: Wheat Ridge Clinic, Orthopedic

Your Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will:

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification while preparing patients for exams.
• Perform exams according to department protocols and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care.
• Provide patient education, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures performed.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and reporting equipment failures.

What You Bring

We’re looking for candidates who possess:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Radiologic technologist license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Ability to perform Medical Assistant (MA) functions if required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of radiology experience
  • IV Certification

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

• Ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
• Frequent verbal communication with patients and care providers.
• Manual dexterity to operate complex equipment.
• Physical capability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.
• Ability to navigate busy environments safely.

Compensation and Benefits
