SQL Developer - Kids Dental Brands

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server to join our team. In this role, you will oversee databases, tables, and stored procedures, while also supporting reporting, data validation, and Business Intelligence initiatives.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Must be based in Phoenix, Arizona
Collaborate with business teams to identify repetitive, manual tasks and design SQL-driven automated processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL databases, tables, and stored procedures.
Generate ad-hoc reports to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
Validate data for accuracy and reliability, particularly for use in Power BI reports.
Collaborate with the Power BI team to ensure data integrity and accuracy in BI reports.
Identify and test data sources to ensure they meet reporting requirements.
Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing of data displayed in BI reports.
Troubleshoot and diagnose data-related issues, distinguishing between fundamental problems and user errors.
Translate technical data into real-world terms for stakeholders when issues arise.
Support the development team by providing backend data resources and assistance as needed.
Compensation and Schedule
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
Schedule: Hybrid role. Training requires Monday-Thursday in-office presence, after which the position shifts to a flexible hybrid schedule as you grow into the role.

Qualifications:
5+ years experience as a Microsoft SQL Developer or Systems Analyst.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server programming and database management
Experience with ad-hoc reporting and data validation.
Familiarity with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
