Our team is seeking a talented tech program leader to help us grow and evolve our technology platform to further scale under the roof technology. You will build solutions to delight our customers across Fresh, Whole Foods, Amazon Go and many other brands.

To be successful you need to be flexible and entrepreneurial. You are a true owner - you are passionate about the business and innovate on behalf of our customers. You ideally have experience leading programs with SVP/VP visibility, and are excited to think-out-of-the box to solve complex problems.

The key responsibilities are:

1. Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex problems throughout the global Amazon grocery stores network.
2. Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment network. Tackle complex challenges and break them down into actionable steps, delivering results efficiently.
3. Collaborate with other teams and operational partners to generate high quality, cost effective solutions
4. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners.
5. Provide technical leadership for large-scale software, architectural, operational projects.
6. Develop and lead high-level strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our grocery sites
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
