    Job Details

  • Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
  • Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics.
  • Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
  • Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
  • Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
  • Conducts post-procedure review to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Transfers images and data to archival systems, enters technical data/findings, and prepares studies for physician reporting.
  • Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and improve care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.

  • Ability to apply core-level primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation with general supervision or assistance.
