Video Production Intern – Realistic Job Preview Project

Are you passionate about visual storytelling and eager to build your portfolio while making a real difference?

Lifesteps, a non-profit organization based in Butler, PA is seeking a talented and motivated intern to assist with filming and editing a realistic job preview video highlighting the day-to-day experiences of our caregiver team that can be shared with prospective staff.

Responsibilities:

• Film on-site footage that captures authentic job roles, workplace culture, and mission-driven moments.
• Edit raw footage into a polished, engaging short-form video suitable for recruitment and outreach.
• Collaborate closely with staff to align the visual content with the organization’s goals and message.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Access to personal filming equipment is a plus.
• Strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance with ability to travel locally using a personal vehicle
• Prefer college student studying Media Production, Communications, Film and VIdeo Production, Digital Arts, etc.

Location: Butler, Pennsylvania

Duration: Summer Project (Would also consider Fall semester)

This is a great opportunity for students studying media production, communications, or digital arts to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a cause that matters.
