Join a winning team today at del Lago Resort & CasinoPOSITION SUMMARYThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Casino Marketing efforts as directed by the Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include event execution, creative creation, proofing, guest relations efforts as well as a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, personnel support, and planning activities including processing all business paperwork and office administrative activities for the Marketing, Promotions, Player Development, and Entertainment areas of the Marketing Department. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible to ensure the employee is compliant with Internal Control Policy and Procedures, New York State Gaming Commission rules and regulations including Responsible Gaming requisites.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIESThe following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all inclusive.Maintains the integrity of the brand promise and the Responsible Gaming message throughout all creative elements by ensuring that the logos and images are correct, as well as the appropriate gaming disclaimersOversees all incoming job requests to ensure that projects are completed correctly in a timely manner and within budgetCoordinates the internal production flow for the Marketing department by gathering copy, creative direction, and necessary approvalsAssists in the promotional activities and work closely with support teams to ensure the correct information is being shared with the public and Team Members for events and promotionsRequired to work effectively with outside vendors, internal, and external clients when neededRequired to work with the Marketing Manager to make sure that the signage created is on-brandRequired to coordinate property events to include planning and execution of decor and food and beverage for casino eventsAssists in the facilitation of all filming and photography for the property, press, and media exposure, obtaining all appropriate signed contracts, certificates of insurance and release formsEnsures all projects are completed in a timely fashion for it to be disseminated to the publicParticipates in the review and approval process of all Marketing material by proofreading for content (i.e., spelling and grammar) and correct imagesMaintains a good communication with co-workers and maintain a positive and professional work environmentUtilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through Marketing and other departmentsWorks with Unifocus software (i.e., guest relations efforts, guest questions)Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company managementSUPERVISORY AUTHORITYThe Marketing Coordinator does not have any "Supervisor Authority"SIGNATORY ABILITYComplimentary AuthorizationLimited Free Play, Match Play - as approved by supervisorPrize and Promotional Payment AuthorizationINFORMATION & AREA ACCESSAccess to Management Information Systems (MIS)WORKING CONDITIONSMust have ability to:Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contactsRequired to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAccurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needsDefine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsUse all equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to computer keyboardInterpret and follows through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formResolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner Previous customer service experience preferredAbility to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs.Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spacesJOB QUALIFICATIONSThe Marketing Coordinator possessing experience in gaming operations and thorough knowledge of all casino advertising and marketing preferred. Results oriented, hands-on professional with the ability to interact effectively with the public, staff, and colleagues. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required; equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, business periodicals, instructions, and correspondence/memos; author reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of staff, guests, and the general public. Working knowledge of Excel and Word required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Previous customer service experience preferred.
